The women's Hawas gets far less attention than the men's. It probably should not.
Search interest in Hawas For Her has more than doubled in the last year while the men's versions have stayed flat. That is unusual, and it suggests word is spreading faster than the marketing.
Here is what it actually is.
The short version
Hawas For Her sits in the same family as the men's line but leans fruitier and softer. It shares the brightness that made the original Hawas popular without the ambergris weight underneath.
If you like the men's Hawas on someone else and want something in the same register for yourself, this is the closest thing in the range.
Who it suits
It works best on people who find most women's fragrances either too sweet or too floral. It sits somewhere in between, which is a harder space to occupy than it sounds.
It is also a reasonable office fragrance, which a lot of fruity florals are not. Close enough to the skin that nobody across the room has to share it.
When to wear it
Daytime and spring or summer primarily. It has enough presence for an evening but it is not a statement fragrance, and that is the point.
If you would rather go unisex
Two options worth considering instead.
Hawas Sapphire is genuinely unisex and considerably bolder. Bergamot, blackcurrant and guava opening, then orange blossom and sandalwood, on a base of musk, tonka bean and ambergris. It gets noticed.
Hawas Elixir is the other unisex option and goes the opposite direction. Vanilla, dark chocolate and tonka rather than citrus. Built for cold weather.
